Congratulations to St Anthony’s past-pupil, Patrick Campbell, and all the Cork minor football team on their superb All-Ireland victory over Galway in Croke Park today. .
The finals of the Kavanagh Tournament took place today in glorious sunshine. 160 boys from 4th and 5th class took part, our biggest number ever, and every boy who participated in the competition received a medal. The Cork team finally emerged victorious. Well done to all who took part. .
St. Anthony’s BNS will play Riverstown NS in the Sciath na Scol Final on Wednesday 29th May 2019 in Páirc Uí Rinn @ 11am. This is a great achievement for the boys and their mentors. We would encourage as many pupils as possible to go to the match. .
Boys from 6th class took part today in the Cork Spash & Dash along with a number of other schools, swimming 50 metres of the Gus Healy pool followed by a 400 metre run in the Japanese Gardens. The boys then accompanied Olympian Rob Heffernan on a fun walk to promote health and exercise. .
Ms Fahy’s 6th Class have traveled to the RDS in Dublin on Monday 20th May to take part in a class room based competition to design with a product/service with the most potential.
