All-Ireland Swimming Champions


Congratulations to St Anthony’s swimmers who travelled to the National Aquatics Centre recently. The boys won multiple medals, including All-Ireland gold in the front crawl relay. .

Cork Chess Champions


The St Anthony’s Chess Team were in The Rockies for the Cork Schools Chess Championship. Each student played a number of times during the course of the day and St Anthony’s finally emerged victorious. Well done to Richard, chess tutor, and all the boys who took part. .

Congratulations to Mr Hogan O’Connell’s 5th class. They travelled to CIT for the Cork VEX Robotics competition and won an award for the best STEM presentation. Well done to all involved!   .

Swimming lessons will begin for 2nd & 3rd Classes on Tuesday 15th January 2019. 2nd Class session will be @ 11a.m. 3rd Class session will be @ 12 noon. Boys must bring togs, hat, goggles & towel. .

Lord Mayor’s Visit


Today we welcomed Cllr. Mick Finn, Lord Mayor of Cork City to St Anthony’s BNS.We presented the Lord Mayor with a copy of our school anthem & a Shane Brick hurley. The Lord Mayor met all the boys & staff of the school. We greatly enjoyed his visit. .
