Tánaiste Visit
The Tánaiste, Micheál Martin, visited St Anthony’s today, with Councillor Mary Rose Desmond. Louis, from 6th class, welcomed them to the school. The visit was to present prizes for the Chrismas Card Competition. Congratulations to the winner, Caolan, and runner-up, Jack.
The Tániste was very generous with his time and allowed Charlie from 5th class to ask a list of questions prepared by boys in the school.
Before leaving Micheál gave the school the gift of an atlas, and wished the boys and their families a very happy Christmas.
